Inhaling and Exhaling. Trying to keep my mind off the memories
Inside I'm bright and sunny, but outside it's cold, wet, and windy.
So I hug my favorite tree. The tallest, oldest, strongest one on the block
Because my roots are grounded too. You're stuck with me whether you like it or not.
My thoughts are all abstractions til I mold them into shapes & clay
And my desires are fire, and they're burning me. Just take them away.
My head is full of hornets, and they bustle, buzz, and sting
My heart is full of birdies, and they whistle, dance, and sing
I've gotta get to heaven. I've gotta get myself up this ladder
Crystallize imagination. Take my dreams, and then transform them into matter

I am filled with words, and whirlwinds. Carousels of four ex-girlfriends
Making laps around my lobes, like the moon around the globe.
Manifested in vibration. Always dreaming of vacations
When the present matters most. I'm such a silly, starving ghost
And so ungrateful for the consciousness I'm granted.
So unaware of all the wonders of this world
I've been peering through a blindfold.
Walking backwards on the tightrope up above the black abyss.
With liquor lingering on my lips
And though I profit from your pension, I still cannot pay attention to the stories that you tell, of his heaven, or her hell
They're only places we extract from our emotions
Those extreme opposites are really only one
Waves are never seperated from their oceans
And your taste will always have a tipi on my tongue
Cause there's a method to the madness.
Something restless in my sadness waiting to awaken joy
In every girl and every boy
Until they're glowing incandescent
On the shadowed moon that crescents in a boundless sky of black that pushes every object back
To the moment where this all originated
To the place where there is nothing left but love
In a special singularity, sedated
In the never ending afterlife above

All these clouds they look like paintings
So surreal I feel like fainting
The world is spinning round
I feel like I'm negative 15 pounds
And positively parched. Its not so easy to stop it once you start
We're in a figure 8 playing an endless game
Springin into action. Hop in the astro. Off to the moon we go
Dressed in flawless fashion. Rasin the roof up. Glued to the jukebox glow
All the birds in my heart singing
Sparrows in the sunshine swinging
To a taller tree
With the fallen leaves sprawled across the street
Yellow, Orange, and Brown. Give a little life to the dead town
A little light of mine takes the place of green for the meantime
Open to the weather. Floatin like a feather. Ridin the wind like time
Light from all directions causing the reflections to glow in the bright sunshine
I feel the freedom, truly. Disheveled and unruly as I try to hobble home
The brick and wood have faded. The houses, Antiquated.
I crawl on the cobblestone
